Missouri HB2320 modifies time limitations for prosecuting certain sexual offenses involving minors.

Missouri HB2320 changes the statute of limitations for prosecuting sexual offenses involving minors. It allows such prosecutions to be commenced at any time, regardless of the victim's age at the time of the offense. This applies to offenses listed in chapter 566 and those requiring registration under sections 589.400 to 589.425. The changes apply to actions arising on or after August 28, 2026.
