Missouri HB2291 sets time limits for political subdivisions to approve or deny permit requests for property developments or improvements.

Missouri HB2291 establishes a timeline for political subdivisions to approve or deny permit requests for new construction, repair, or renovation of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. If a political subdivision does not respond within thirty days, the request is automatically approved. If a request is denied, the political subdivision must provide written reasons. If a request is incomplete, the applicant has ten days to resubmit it, after which the political subdivision has ten days to approve or deny it.
