Missouri HB2278 creates the "Interscholastic Athletic Activities Appeals Board" within the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This board will hear appeals after the activities association appeals process has been exhausted. The activities association, defined as any nonprofit statewide organization facilitating interscholastic activities for secondary school students, will be overseen by a board of directors appointed by the governor. The board of directors will consist of five members, with varying terms of two or four years.
