HB2274

Missouri HB2274 adopts the Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact to facilitate teacher licensure across states.

Missouri HB2274 adopts the Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact, aiming to streamline teacher licensure across member states. The compact seeks to create a new pathway to licensure, support teacher mobility, and facilitate the exchange of licensure information. It allows teachers with unencumbered licenses from one member state to apply for equivalent licenses in another member state, subject to state-specific requirements. The compact also supports the relocation of eligible military spouses and maintains state sovereignty in teacher regulation.
