State provides financial supplements for public schools to hire school nurses and mental health professionals.

The bill creates two funds in the state treasury to provide financial supplements for public schools to hire school nurses and mental health professionals. The "School Nurse Financial Supplement Fund" and the "School Mental Health Professional Financial Supplement Fund" will consist of grants, gifts, donations, bequests, or moneys appropriated under this section. School districts can apply for these supplements, with preference given to those demonstrating the greatest need.
