Establishes extreme risk orders of protection to prevent firearm possession by individuals deemed a risk to themselves or others.

Creates a new section in the Revised Statutes of Missouri to allow courts to issue extreme risk orders of protection, prohibiting individuals from possessing firearms. A court may issue such an order if a law enforcement officer petitions for it, showing probable cause that the individual poses a significant risk of personal injury. The court may issue an ex parte order without notifying the respondent, which remains in effect until a hearing is held. A full order may be issued after a hearing if the court finds the individual poses a significant danger.
