HB2084

Missouri HB2084 modifies maintenance orders, setting end dates upon reaching full retirement age unless agreed otherwise.

Missouri HB2084 modifies provisions relating to maintenance orders. It specifies that maintenance orders end upon the payer reaching full retirement age unless both parties agree otherwise. The bill defines full retirement age as the earlier of the date the payer is eligible for, or begins receiving, full retirement benefits under the federal Social Security Act. It also grants courts the authority to set end dates for maintenance orders and requires reasonable notice before retirement.
