HB2069

Missouri HB2069 establishes regulations for fully autonomous vehicles, including registration, operation, and crash reporting.

Missouri HB2069 introduces provisions for the operation of fully autonomous vehicles. It mandates that these vehicles be registered and identified as such. Operators must submit a law enforcement plan to the Department of Public Safety and proof of financial responsibility to the Department of Revenue. The bill outlines conditions for operating these vehicles without a human driver, including the need for a communication plan with a fleet support specialist and the ability to safely remove the vehicle from operation.
