Missouri HB2050 requires superintendents in certain school districts to reside within the district boundaries.

Missouri HB2050 mandates that superintendents in school districts classified as unaccredited, facing the loss of accredited status, or experiencing a funding deficit must reside within the district boundaries. This requirement applies to all contracts or employment agreements with a superintendent entered into after the effective date of this subsection. The bill also allows two or more school districts to share a superintendent, who must reside within the boundaries of one of the sharing districts if any of them meet the specified criteria.
