Missouri HB1932 amends Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri by adding a new section requiring employers to provide meal periods or breaks to employees. This meal period must be at least thirty consecutive minutes for each employee, unless the employer employs fewer than five employees on a shift or the continuous nature of the employer's operations requires employees to be available for urgent conditions. The bill does not require employers to pay employees during the meal break. Employers violating this provision face fines.
