Missouri HB1920 creates provisions for reimbursing hospitals for security enhancements and personnel costs.

Missouri HB1920 amends Chapters 192 and 197 by adding sections 192.918 and 197.752. These sections allow hospitals to receive reimbursement from the state for expenses related to new physical property or technology that improves hospital security, as well as for new payroll costs for security personnel. Reimbursements are subject to state appropriations and are available for two years for physical security enhancements and three years for security personnel costs.
