HB1891

HB 1891 expands the definition of "other authorized health care practitioner" to include licensed occupational therapists for issuing physician's.

HB 1891 modifies the definition of "other authorized health care practitioner" to include licensed occupational therapists, allowing them to issue physician's statements for disabled license plates and placards. This bill ensures that occupational therapists, along with other authorized health care practitioners, can certify disabilities for special parking privileges. The provisions also detail the issuance, renewal, and penalties for misuse of disabled license plates and placards, emphasizing the nontransferable nature of these privileges.
