Allows for a cause of action for alienation of affection

Allows individuals to sue for alienation of affection against a third party.

This bill amends Chapter 537 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri by adding a new section that allows a person to bring a cause of action against a third party for alienation of affection. The third party may be held liable for civil damages, which will be determined by the court. The action must be commenced within three years from the last act of the third party.
