Allows new structures in Bolivar to choose their electrical service provider.
Missouri HB1815 amends Chapter 394 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri to allow new structures in cities with populations between 10,000 and 11,000, which are county seats with populations between 30,000 and 35,000, to choose their electrical service provider. This includes options from electrical corporations, municipally owned systems, or rural electric cooperatives. The bill does not require any electric service provider to enter into a territorial agreement.
