Missouri HB1806 creates a new offense for minors carrying concealed firearms.

Missouri HB1806 amends Chapter 571 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri by adding a new section, 571.034, which establishes the offense of unlawful use of a firearm by a minor. This offense applies to individuals under eighteen years of age who knowingly carry a concealed firearm. Conviction of this class D misdemeanor results in the immediate confiscation of the firearm and may include other orders as allowed in felony cases. The procedures outlined in section 571.095 apply to this offense.
