HB1791

Establishes deadlines for political subdivisions to approve or deny building permits and fee reductions for delays.

Missouri HB1791 sets deadlines for political subdivisions to approve or deny building permits based on the size and type of construction. It defines six levels of building permits and establishes specific timeframes for each. If a political subdivision fails to meet these deadlines, it must reduce the building permit fee by 10% for each business day of delay. If the subdivision fails to act on revised applications within 10 business days, the fee reduction increases to 20% per business day.
