Missouri HB1708 modifies provisions relating to the issuance and renewal of license plates and placards for persons with disabilities. The bill specifies that disabled license plates and removable windshield placards are nontransferable and may only be used by the person or vehicle for which they were issued. It mandates that a physician's statement, dated no more than ninety days prior to the application, must be submitted with each application for license plates.
