Missouri HB1642 amends Chapter 488 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri by adding a new section allowing the county commission of any third-class county to withhold and use up to 50% of all court costs and court fees collected for new courthouse construction or renovation projects. This allowance is limited to a seven-year period per project. The bill specifies that these funds cannot be used for more than seven consecutive years per project.
