HB1624

Missouri HB1624 requires seed permit applicants to include an affidavit prohibiting the sale of certain invasive plants.

Missouri HB1624 mandates that applicants for a seed permit or renewal must include an affidavit stating they will not knowingly sell, distribute, or propagate specific invasive plants. These include climbing euonymus, Japanese honeysuckle, Sericea lespedeza, Perilla mint, burning bush, and Callery pear. The bill sets specific dates for when these plants cannot be sold. It also outlines the process for obtaining a seed permit, including fees and the requirement to post the permit in a visible location.
