Mississippi SB3294 allocates $10 million from the State Treasury to the Mississippi Department of Employment Security for funding Summer Youth Employment Programs throughout the state for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027. The intent of the Legislature is to employ 25 high school students from Mound Bayou through these programs. The funds will be disbursed by the State Treasurer and the State Fiscal Officer will issue warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person or officer.
