Mississippi SB3038 authorizes the issuance of state general obligation bonds to fund the repair, renovation, and upgrades of the K.L. Simmons Technology Building at Alcorn State University. The proceeds from the bond sale will be deposited into a special fund, the "2026 Alcorn State University K.L. Simmons Technology Building Fund," which will be used to cover the project costs. The bonds, which cannot exceed $10,475,000, will mature no later than July 1, 2030. The State Bond Commission has the authority to determine the sale method, interest rates, and other bond terms.
