Mississippi SB2833 amends the Mississippi Code to authorize the issuance of distinctive motor vehicle license tags for supporters of the Mississippi Sound Estuary Program. Owners of motor vehicles can apply for these tags, paying an additional fee of $30. Twenty-four dollars of this fee will be distributed to the Mississippi Sound Estuary Program, $1 will go to the State Highway Fund, and $2 will be retained by the county tax collector. The distinctive tags will expire the same month as the regular license tags.
