Establishes the Mississippi Rural Attorneys Program to recruit and support attorneys in rural and underserved areas.

The Mississippi Rural Attorney Program Act establishes the Mississippi Rural Attorneys Program within the Mississippi Bar. It aims to identify and recruit qualified attorneys to practice law in rural and underserved areas. The act creates the Mississippi Rural Attorneys Commission to administer the program. The commission will develop policies and procedures for recruitment, designate rural and underserved areas, and provide stipends to participants. Participants must practice law in these areas for five years to have their stipends forgiven.
