Mississippi SB2546 extends the validity of written certifications and registry ID cards for medical cannabis use.

Mississippi SB2546 amends the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act to extend the validity of written certifications from one year to two years. It also extends the validity of registry identification cards for residents from one year to two years and for nonresidents from 90 days to 15 days. The bill eliminates the requirement for a follow-up visit for patients using medical cannabis.
