Mississippi SB2532 amends Section 41-7-191 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to eliminate the certificate of need requirement for psychiatric residential treatment facilities, psychiatric hospitals, end-stage renal disease facilities, intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, child/adolescent psychiatric beds, and other licensed psychiatric services or mental health services. This change takes effect from July 1, 2026.
