Extends the operation of the Mississippi K-12 and Postsecondary Mental Health Task Force for one additional year.

The Mississippi K-12 and Postsecondary Mental Health Task Force is extended for one additional year to address student mental health issues. The task force will develop recommendations for policy and law changes to better identify struggling students, train personnel, and improve health outcomes. The task force will evaluate current data, resources, and laws, and will report its findings to the Mississippi Legislature by October 1, 2026. The task force includes members from various educational and mental health backgrounds, appointed by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and other officials.
