Mississippi SB2445 mandates the Department of Mental Health to create and implement a rating scale with performance standards for evaluating Community Mental Health Centers. The department must promulgate these standards by June 30, 2027, and begin conducting performance audits during fiscal year 2028. Each center must undergo a performance audit at least once every two years. If a center fails to achieve a passing score, it will be placed on a six-month probationary period.
