Mississippi Senate Bill 2431 waives tuition for specific veterans attending state-supported universities and community colleges. To qualify, veterans must be Mississippi residents, honorably discharged, in-state tuition eligible, and not receiving federal educational benefits. They must have served during a wartime period and received a campaign medal for combat operations outside the U.S., or have a service-connected disability rating of 10% or more.
