Amends compensation for Tishomingo County Water District commissioners.
Mississippi SB2400 amends Section 19-5-171 of the Mississippi Code to set the compensation for commissioners of the Tishomingo County Water District at up to $84.00 per day for each meeting attended. Commissioners are also reimbursed for necessary expenses related to their duties. The changes take effect from July 1, 2026.
