Limits causes of action against racing facilities or racetracks built before property purchase or improvement.

Mississippi SB2357 creates a new section in the Mississippi Code to limit causes of action against racing facilities or racetracks. It prohibits real property owners from having a nuisance, taking, or related cause of action against a racing facility or racetrack if the facility or racetrack was built before the owner purchased or improved the property. This applies to all claims filed after the act's effective date, regardless of when the cause of action arose. The act also prevents political subdivisions from restricting or prohibiting the operation of racing facilities or racetracks.
