Mississippi SB2310 amends the state code to allow the Public Service Commission to cancel a municipality's certificate for water service beyond its municipal boundaries if the service is found to be inadequate. The commission can investigate and hold hearings to determine if the service is reasonably adequate. If the commission finds the service to be inadequate, it can order the utility to correct the issues within a reasonable time. If the utility fails to comply, the commission may revoke the certificate.
