Allows high school student-athletes in Mississippi one transfer without penalty or loss of eligibility.
Mississippi SB2304 allows every student-athlete in the state, whether in public secondary school or any school that is a member of the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA), one transfer to another school or school district during their length of eligibility without loss of eligibility or any other penalty. This act aims to provide flexibility for student-athletes who may need to transfer for various reasons. The eligibility upon transfer provided for herein shall not preclude enforcement of any other participation rules or requirements.
