The committee will evaluate innovative assessment practices, prioritize models that promote instructional equity, reduce testing burdens, increase flexibility, and improve data accuracy. The committee will meet at least three additional times between its formation and December 1, 2026, and report its findings and recommendations to the Legislature by that date.
