Mississippi SB2057 aims to protect waterfowl by prohibiting wind power devices from exceeding 150 feet in height within areas of 100 square miles where 11 or more bird bands have been collected in the past ten years. This restriction does not apply to wind farms or devices under construction or operational before July 1, 2026.
