Mississippi SB2007 amends the Mississippi Code to extend the repealer date for the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance's authority to conduct periodic joint-bank examinations with the Federal Reserve. The bill allows the commissioner to accept examinations performed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Federal Reserve Bank for state banks and bank holding companies with over one billion dollars in assets. The commissioner can also join in related supervisory orders issued by the Federal Reserve Bank.
