The Mississippi Legislature congratulates Charles Ellis Cross from Laurel, Mississippi, for his role as an offensive lineman in the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl LX victory. Born in 2000, Cross attended Laurel High School and played in the 2018 All-American Bowl. He signed with Mississippi State University and was named to the SEC All-Freshman Football Team. He was selected ninth overall in the 2022 NFL draft by the Seahawks and signed a four-year, $104.4 million contract extension in 2026.
