Mississippi HB982 amends the Mississippi Code to suspend retirement benefits for members of the Public Employees' Retirement System and the Supplemental Legislative Retirement Plan who are convicted of or plead guilty or nolo contendere to a felony involving public funds. The Attorney General must determine if these conditions have been met before the suspension can be enforced.
