Mississippi HB943 amends Section 81-1-81 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to extend the repealer date for the Commissioner of Banking and Consumer Finance to join examinations with the Federal Reserve Bank. The bill allows the commissioner to join an examination or issue a joint report of examination with the Federal Reserve Bank of any bank holding company with more than One Billion Dollars ($1,000,000,000.00) in assets. The commissioner may also accept any examination report of a bank holding company performed solely by the Federal Reserve Bank in lieu of conducting a joint examination.
