Mississippi HB933 amends Section 45-9-133 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to authorize officers of the Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau to retain their personal sidearm upon retirement. This applies to officers who retire for superannuation or disability under the Public Employees' Retirement System. The act takes effect from July 1, 2026.
