Mississippi HB904 amends the Mississippi Code to require the suspension of a bail license if a court has rendered a civil judgment against a bail agent for monies owed to an insurer. The commissioner can suspend the license until the judgment is satisfied. After satisfaction, a hearing to reinstate the license may be requested. The bill also clarifies that certain fees are not part of the premium, commission, or fee charged by a bail agent. The act takes effect from July 1, 2026.
