Authorizes issuance of state bonds to fund the Sylvan Lake Outflow Weir Project in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

This bill authorizes the issuance of state general obligation bonds to provide funds for the City of Olive Branch, Mississippi, to cover costs associated with the Sylvan Lake Outflow Weir Project. The bonds, not exceeding $140,000, will mature no later than July 1, 2030. The proceeds will be deposited into a special fund, the "2026 City of Olive Branch Sylvan Lake Outflow Weir Fund," and disbursed to cover project costs. The bonds are exempt from state taxation and can be validated in the Chancery Court of Hinds County. The act takes effect from July 1, 2026.
