Mississippi HB82 allocates $3,600,960 from the State General Fund to the University of Mississippi Medical Center to fund 122 scholarships in the Rural Physicians Scholarship Program for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027. The funds are to be paid by the State Treasurer from any money in the proper funds not otherwise appropriated. This act takes effect from July 1, 2026.
