The Starkville High School AP Government Class of 2019 Motor Voter Act enables Mississippi residents to register to vote or update their registration when applying for, renewing, or changing the address on a motor vehicle driver's license or official identification card. The Mississippi Department of Public Safety collects voter registration information from applicants and forwards it to the Secretary of State. Qualified applicants are registered by the county registrar in their residential voting precinct through the Statewide Elections Management System.
