Mississippi HB63 allocates $300 million from the State General Fund for the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning. This funding is intended to provide equal amounts to Jackson State University, Alcorn State University, and Mississippi Valley State University for restorations and renovations on projects that have been requested from the Legislature for more than two years. The funds will be disbursed starting July 1, 2026, and will be paid out by the State Treasurer upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer.
