DeSoto County can stop participating in DeSoto County Crime Stoppers, Inc. and cease levying additional court costs for its funding.

This bill allows the Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi, to cease participation in DeSoto County Crime Stoppers, Inc. It also stops the levying of additional court costs in municipal courts for funding the program. Instead, these costs will fund the State Crime Stoppers Program. The bill amends Chapter 912, Local and Private Laws of 1993, to reflect these changes.
