Mississippi House Bill 4129 restores the right of suffrage to Christopher Preston of Covington County, Mississippi. Preston was disqualified as an elector in 1995 in Forrest County for crimes of burglary and forgery, for which he served five years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. He was released on Earned Release Supervision in 2000 and has since lived as a law-abiding citizen. The bill restores his right to vote.
