Mississippi House Bill 4119 restores the right of suffrage to April Pace-Brooks of Coahoma County, Mississippi. Pace-Brooks was previously disqualified as an elector due to a conviction for embezzlement in Tunica County on June 23, 2003, for which she served 60 months on probation. She was discharged from probation on June 23, 2008, and has since been a law-abiding citizen. The bill takes effect immediately upon passage.
