Mississippi HB222 amends Section 29-17-4 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to increase the spending authority for repair, renovation, and improvement projects at state institutions of higher learning and community and junior colleges. The bill includes utility infrastructure projects, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and the replacement of furniture and equipment. The cost for any single project cannot exceed $10,000,000.00. The bill creates a special fund, the "State Agency Repair and Renovation Fund," to manage these appropriations.
