Mississippi HB1826 allows the State Bond Commission to issue up to $25,000 in state general obligation bonds to fund road improvements in Itta Bena. The bonds will mature no later than 2030 and will be exempt from state taxes. The proceeds will be deposited into a special fund, the "2026 City of Itta Bena Road Improvements Fund," to cover project costs. The commission can sell the bonds through sealed bids or negotiations.
