Mississippi HB1804 authorizes the issuance of state general obligation bonds to fund the repair, renovation, and upgrades of Albert Lott Hall and nursing campus residence halls at Alcorn State University. The bonds, up to a total of Five Million Dollars, will be issued under the "2026 Alcorn State University Improvements Fund." The fund will be maintained separately from the state's General Fund, and any unexpended amounts will not lapse into the General Fund. The bonds are exempt from all state taxation and will mature within 25 years. The act takes effect from July 1, 2026.
